Does the University Of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) Accept Second (2nd) Choice Candidates?: This is another question aspirants of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) are raising both those yet to choose them as second choice and those that have already chosen UNN as the second choice in JAMB.

The good news is that JAMB Now Allows candidates to choose Universities as the Second choice during registration, but the not so good news is that not all Universities or schools can be used as second (2nd) choice during JAMB Registration.

JAMB has selected the list of schools that can be used as the second choice to better increase the chances that each Candidate has to be offered admission for the session.

This list of Universities selected by JAMB is the one that applicants can easily get admission into.

Does UNN Accept Second Choice For Admission?.

The answer is NO. The University of Nigeria Nsukka is not among the selected schools that JAMB Choice as second choice universities.

This means that no matter the JAMB Score you have (Be it 300 or above), UNN will not consider you for admission if you apply them as 2nd choice.

So, candidates are hereby advised not to waste their second choice slot by applying for the University of Nigeria as they won’t be considered for admission.

You will agree with me that the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) is one of the best and most competitive universities in Nigeria.

Hence, UNN won’t accept second choice candidates although no one can say the reasons but according to my research, it’s a policy the institution tends to keep to itself.

What to do if you have already chosen UNN as second choice candidates in JAMB?: Now that you have found out that you will not be offered admission if you choose UNN as a second choice, there’s something you can do if you already make the move of choosing UNN as your second choice of institution.

Take the JAMB change of institution form and make the change of UNN as your first choice preference. Doing this you stand a high chance of being offered admission into the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN).
